Look what I did today!
Before . . . the tile back splash in our kitchen was a little boring, so I decided to try painting some of the tiles with an antiquing paint.
I'm not sure if the checkerboard pattern is a little psycho, but it's definitely an improvement. Not bad for a couple hours of work and less than $5! I will put a clear sealant on it and hope it doesn't wear off.

I'm amazed by how brave are. If I tried something like that, it would be messed up for good. You've for sure got the designer's eye.
