Memory Lane

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I (or Jerry) had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

I got this from my friend, Karen.

Heck yes I remember the Napoleon Dynamite Party. (we still talk about the milk test)

I remember the first playgroup we were at together in Waco at Hewitt Park, Claire was a baby.
Jerry was our Home Teacher too.

I remember the rocking barbcue with the Ikedas at your house, and the fun Christmas Ornament parties at our house.

We miss you guys. When work quits ruling my life, maybe Princess and I can come up and see the house and we can all go to dinner.

I know we have only known each other for less the 5 months. But the great memories I know will be always getting together with all our friends and having lunch and letting the kids play.

One memory that always sticks out to me, besides the Pocatello Mall, is when Melissa and I came down for Christy's graduation. You all totally surprised me for my birthday--we went to Killeen to watch "Where the Heart Is" and we snuck snacks into the theater. Good times. :)

Let's see. How about all the elaborate book clubs you hosted, complete with decadent desserts and savory snacks in your lovely White Horse Trail home that you gave your own artistic touches. Also there was that memorable day when you were out doing yardwork and Darren locked you out of the house and you fled to our house with your wagon in need to a phone to call a locksmith. We miss our Collingwood neighbors!

I remember the first time I met you, at the museum, and we found out that I knew your cousin. All the fun baby showers, playgroups, and preschool classes were great, too! You're so talented and organized! Hey, Jerry was our home teacher also!

I am just catching up on your latest posts, so I'm late on this memory: I smile every time I think about when you and Christy would come and swim in our backyard... and you would bring your forbidden 2-piece! :)
