Fourth of July Festivities

There was a bit of confusion as we searched for Darren's
"Uncle Jon" hat that he made in school.

Finally I figured out that he meant Uncle Sam.

We went to our ward's annual breakfast and bike parade and had a great time.

This is Miles with our favorite babysitter, Bethany.

And of course, we have a project to work on this weekend. We are painting the downstairs guest bathroom and making a magnetic chalkboard for the playroom. I'll post pictures of those later.

Last of all, here is a picture of our day lilies for Jerry's dad. Sadly, these and the lantana are the only flowers in our garden that are really thriving this summer. Happy Fourth!
