It's hard to believe that we have a SEVEN-YEAR-OLD!!! And, Darren is the greatest 7-year old we could ask for! In honor of his birthday, here are seven cool things about Darren:
1. He won an airplane making contest at school because his went the farthest.
2. He is an awesome reader, and has already read the Chronicles of Narnia.
3. He is really funny!
4. He can beat me almost every time at Checkers.
5. He loves playing video/computer games of any kind.
6. He makes friends easily.
7. He has lost two teeth.
We celebrated Darren birthday with our usual trip to Chuck E. Cheese, and a party at home afterwards. I made a pinball machine cake that turned out a little iffy. When Darren saw it, he just laughed and said it was okay! For his birthday, he got a remote control truck, a magic kit, lantern, joke book, and a mini guitar hero game. We love you, Darren!
